Mindfulness retreats for everyone

Have you ever seen a builder meditating? Or a beautician, yoga teacher, barrister, or banker?

We’ve welcomed them all — rich, poor, and everyone in between, from every background, culture and faith. No labels, no boxes. Just real people who feel there’s something more to life… and want to discover it.

Come on your own (lots of people do!) — you won’t feel alone for long. We’re a warm, open, non-judgemental bunch, and genuine friendships often form surprisingly quickly.

If you’re just starting, you’ll leave brighter, lighter, and with simple tools for daily life. If you’re more experienced, expect your practice to deepen — while having fun and laughing along the way.

Experience mindfulness for real

Books and lectures can only point you in the right direction. Mindfulness is practice — and this weekend is designed so you live it, between sound healing, yoga, meditation and chi kung.

Fundamentals of Mindfulness

Adrian helps you enter a state of Satori — clearing the clouds of thought into clear blue, thoughtless clarity. Learn the main techniques for switching off problems, worries and head drama. That’s the start. Then we explore the life-changing possibilities this offers you.

The Way of the Body

An approach favoured by the late great Master Thich Nhat Hanh. Mindful walking, sitting, eating, breathing — the alignment of mind and body. Features the famous standing-in-a-queue meditation and forest bathing. (It’s alright, you keep your clothes on.)

Mindfulness of Emotions

The art of self-mastery — feel and process painful emotions in the body without reacting and spreading more suffering. You don’t need to fear them. They are not bigger than you. Move from reaction toward right action, from a place of calm and clarity.

Steve’s school of meditation

We all love different styles — and they all lead to the same peaceful place. Steve’s attention training is seriously fun (expect plenty of laughs… or a good cry if you need one). You’ll try lots of practices so you can discover what feels just right.

He realised mindfulness and meditation was the solution and embarked on a ten-year journey of discovery — he has lived in ashrams in India and studied with masters. He’d love to share the gems he’s discovered.
