This is a holiday from your head.

Real wellness, not a spa weekend. Three days at Burwell House learning how to get out of your head and into your life, from teachers who live what they teach and have changed their own lives in ways they never imagined possible. It's practical, down to earth and full of laughter. Beginners are welcome and lots of people come on their own. Nearly half our guests come back or bring a friend, and every guest gets a free weekly Zoom class afterwards, so the change lasts long after Sunday.

It is not what you might think

Teachers who live what they teach. Plain talking. Real food. Real people.

Not this

It is not a spa

We won’t put you in a robe or hand you a treatment menu. The beds are bunks (we only use the bottom ones, unless you fancy some adventure). We do have nicer rooms too. The food is home-cooked vegetarian, with an extra dollop of love. We haven’t poisoned anyone yet.

Not this

It is not a silent monastery

We won’t make you sit facing a wall for hours. You can talk at dinner. You can laugh. You can have a cry if you need one.

It is not a yoga-barn treat

And it isn't a festival. Eighteen hours of mindfulness, meditation, yoga, Chi Kung and gongs — plain talking from teachers who live it. You don't have to know what any of that is before you arrive.
