The Now Project Mindfulness Weekends are for everyone from 18 to 100, complete beginners to experienced practitioners and teachers.

If you are new to mindfulness these weekends will give you a real kickstart to your practice and give you everything you need to live a happier healthy and a more fulfilled, abundant way of life. If you are already practising mindfulness they will take your practice to a whole new level of awareness.

What are The Now Project Mindfulness Weekends about

Love Laugher and Learning

At the Now Project we are interested in real mindfulness, not the watered down faux mindfulness that you see everywhere these days.

Mindfulness isn’t what you think. Real Mindfulness is not thinking, it is developing the ability to not think, to find some quiet space in your mind free of thought, take a rest from the incessant chatter. Can you imagine how wonderful it would be to be able to find space in your mind and be able to switch off you worries, you problems, issues and head dramas? Without all that mental upset going on, you’ll start to get a great deal more from life and a whole new brighter, happier and more fulfilling world comes into view.

Real Mindfulness isn’t anything you could learn at school or from a book because mindfulness isn’t an intellectual practice, you are developing a different part of your brain altogether. Real Mindfulness can’t be understood it can only be experienced and known directly.

That’s what The Now Project Mindfulness Weekends are all about from the very from the very first class we’ll help you to find a deep state of mindfulness and we’ll hold you there for most of the weekend. You’ll learn techniques and practices to help you cultivate mindfulness you’ll learn how to manage your emotions, how to heal past suffering and how to find depth and meaning and how to get the most from everyday life.

Mindfulness training doesn’t have to be deadly serious, we won’t make you dress in robes or sit cross legged for hours, The Now Project Mindfulness weekends are fun, friendly and relaxed. The food is great and the team are second to none. The are all very experienced practitioners, caring and compassionate, they are human, down to earth and real. With mindfulness they have all overcome depression, anxiety, addictions and other real world issues, they teach from experience, they know what it is to suffer and they all have a heart felt commitment to share with you their knowledge and the whole new life they have discovered.

The VENUE

Burwell House

We’re really excited to bring you to our venue. This new space gives us the opportunity to have more guests and the various spaces indoor and out will make for some great teaching developments.

Built in the late 1700’s and owned by Cambridgeshire County Council since 1965, Burwell House retains the atmosphere of a large family home. With three acres of landscaped gardens, an orchard, meadows, a wildlife pond and a wide array of sculptures, it gives us the perfect tranquil setting to hold us in a state of Mindfulness.

The house includes 2 lounges and a conservatory along with a variety of spaces we can utilise for teaching and relaxing. Accommodation is upstairs, with 11 comfortable bedrooms ranging from twin-bedded rooms to larger shared rooms (same sex). All bedrooms have access to toilets and showers and all bed linen is provid
