Retreat, not retreating

As I write this we are coming to the end of our very popular summer retreats (don’t worry if you missed them, we are looking at doing some winter ones too and we do have 1 left – see our Retreats page) It’s always amazed me the different types of people that turn up, a […]
Zen and the Art of Drinking Tea

Once upon a time in ancient China there was a nun who ran a tea shop. The nun was famous throughout China because of her deep understanding of zen. It was said that she was a true zen master, that she was fully enlightened, and students of zen travelled for thousands of miles to seek […]
Summer Fruit Retreat August 2015

There’s something amazing happening down at Retreat farm, I’m not sure what, but i know it’s amazing. We’ve always attracted people who are on the cusp of a shift. Surrender

While writing this I’m laying down with a bad back. I’ve now been off work for a week which years ago would have been a massive problem for me, my mind would have told me ‘you can’t be off work you’re too busy, you’ve got bills to pay etc’.
Mindful Friends Retreat

Thank you everyone who came on our first retreat of the summer. What an amazing weekend. You are a great bunch and it was an absolute joy to have you. I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank the wonderful mindfulness practitioners and teachers who made the weekend such a success, what a team. […]
Breathing Meditation

This breathing meditation is one of the most simple but also one of the most useful mindfulness meditation exercises that you can do. It teaches you how to observe and to let go of thoughts and is great training for keeping your attention in the present moment. If you were to download this 10 minute […]
